Ice Eye Color Development

On the color development of Ice Eye (IrTw_2022-06_JoF-013)

Ice Eye (IrTw-013) sliced its egg as a latecomer on June 30, 2022.

The parents are Iron Man and Twister.

The parents are half-siblings.

The father is identical, but the mothers are of different origin.

Ice Eye is consequently a mix of Americano and green beauty mixed with the genes of Würmli, a lady of the Sorong type.

In summary: a motley DNA mix, whose roots can be traced back to the Denver Zoo in the early 80s.

The presumably young lady had a normal weight of 11 g and on July 14, 2022, she got rid of her skin for the first time.

The striking thing, however, is the color of their eyes, from which the name Ice Eye was derived.

While the rest of the hatchlings show more of the usual brown and white, Ice Eye has a high proportion of white in the pupil. This characteristic has intensified again in the first few months and is immediately noticeable when you look into Ice Eye's eyes.

Chiefs were only eat for a short time, then the greed for the baby mice was awakened.

Since the end of August 2022, she eats without further action.

Today she eats baby rats weighing 5-10 g every 7 days.

A small worm has grown into snake of decent size, which leads me to believe it's a female.

Since the end of February 2023, the body color has been changing slowly and leisurely.

The basic color has become lighter, and a few dark spots cover the body and head.

It remains exciting which coloring this animal will reveal.
